Welcome to the pen and ink artwork of Truman Howell. He was born the son of a Hallmark artist in Kansas City, Missouri on August 28, 1940. His use of lines, dots, and pen sweeps combine to create a unique perception of form. Truman’s musings flow freely as he sits at the drawing board in the pilot house of his live-aboard houseboat. This humble, stress-free alcove atop his floating home, overlooking the Mississippi River and the spectacular downtown St. Paul, Minnesota skyline, provides a fertile setting for reflection and inspiration. His distinctive style and related expression with a touch of color invite meaning to our every day circumstances. Thank you for viewing and considering a framed artist creation from the Truman Howell collection. These framed prints make excellent wedding or anniversary gifts!
